IDF got 80 percent of Gaza rockets says Israeli Defense Minister Ya'alon at Begin-Sadat Center Conference at Bar-Ilan University

Israel destroyed approximately 80 percent of Hamas rockets in Gaza during this summer's war revealed Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon at a recent public conference on "Military and Political Lessons of Operation Protective Edge" hosted by the Begin-Sadat (BESA) Center for Strategic Studies at Bar-Ilan University.

Israeli Magazine's "100 Most Influential Women" in Israel List Names More Bar-Ilan University Women in Academia and Education Categories than Any Other Israeli University

Bar-Ilan University (BIU) had the highest number of women recognized in Women magazine's Academia and Education categories among all Israeli universities. Women, which is published by the newspaper Makor Rishon, selected 12 Bar-Ilan affiliated women on its recent listing of religious Zionist women in Israel who have reached the highest ranks in their fields.

BIU Medical School Awarded $4.8 Million Grant from the Helmsley Charitable Trust

The Bar-Ilan University Medical School in Safed has received a $4.8 million grant from The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust in order to fund the Cancer Research Center at the School. The grant's funds will help provide more accessible, higher quality healthcare services in Israel's periphery, and improve treatment for patients in Galilee hospitals who are suffering from cancer.
