Parashat Hashavua (Weekly Torah Portion)

Bar-Ilan University provides a weekly study guide on the Torah reading. This exemplifies the university's unique contribution to Israeli and Jewish culture.

An understanding of the weekly Torah reading is enhanced by articles from Bar-Ilan's faculty in the sciences, humanities, law, social sciences and, our course, Jewish Studies. The articles deepen the Torah's relevance and significance to the modern reader, religious or secular, and illustrate how all fields of knowledge can add meaningful dimensions to our ancient heritage.

The printed version reaches 10,000 people in Israel, and thousands more read the internet edition in both English and Hebrew.
