BIU Offers Perfect Fit for "Zoo Rabbi" Natan Slifkin's Research on Biblical Animals

Rabbi Natan Slifkin has always had a passion for animals and today is known as the "Zoo Rabbi." At BIU he completed his dissertation on "Rabbinic Encounters with Zoology in the 19th Century", wrote the first volume of The Torah Encyclopedia of the Animal Kingdom, and opened the Biblical Museum of Natural History in Beit Shemesh.
