Fountain Of Youth Found — In Mice
A team led by Dr. Haim Cohen, of the Mina and Everard Goodman Faculty of Life Sciences, has discovered a gene that increases survival in mammals. The study was published recently in the prestigious journal Nature. The discovery increases the likelihood that similar activity can be found in a human gene. Read more

Prof. Adam Ferziger, vice chair of BIU's graduate program in Contemporary Jewry, is featured in an article in which he speaks about a "defining moment" in Conservative Judaism as it grapples with the issue of the acceptance of non-Jewish spouses and children in synagogue life. Read more

Florida Native Helps BIU Law School Team Earn Second Place In International Mediation Competition
A Bar-Ilan student who grew up in Hollywood, Florida was among the BIU Law School team that earned second place in an international mediation competition that had 66 competing teams. Teams from Harvard, Columbia and Cornell Universities, and the London School of Economics also took part in the competition, held in Paris, France. Read more
