INTERNATIONALLY RENOWNED SCHOLARS AND DIPLOMATS EXAMINE U.S. – ISRAEL RELATIONS AT JOINT BAR-ILAN UNIVERSITY AND YESHIVA UNIVERSITY CONFERENCE

As the new administrations in the United States and Israel continue to grapple over the settlements and other Middle East issues, a group of leading Middle East scholars, strategists and diplomats convened at an international conference presented by Bar-Ilan University and Yeshiva University to examine U.S. – Israel Relations: In the Era of Obama and Netanyahu. The conference, which was held this fall at YU’s Geraldine Schottenstein Cultural Center in New York City, was sponsored by the Begin-Sadat (BESA) Center for Strategic Studies at Bar-Ilan University, American Friends of Bar-Ilan University, YU’s Center for Israel Studies and Rabbi Arthur Schneier Center for International Affairs.
