Professor Cyrille Cohen

Prof Cyrille Cohen has been active in the field of cancer immunotherapy for the past 20 years. He recently described approaches to isolate on neo-antigen specific TILs and peripheral T-cells and is developing, together with medical centers, novel therapies for advanced cancer. He is a member of Israel regulatory agencies for approval of clinical trials based on gene and cell therapy and of the advisory board for clinical trials on coronaviruses vaccines at the Israel ministry of health. Importantly, he was recently appointed as president of the Israel Society for Cancer Research (ISCR). His works have been quoted more than 6,000 times and has authored more than 70 publications.

As one of the country’s leading experts on the Covid-19 vaccine, Prof. Cohen is interviewed by the media on a daily basis. Since the beginning of the pandemic, Cohen has given interviews to both local (Israeli) and international news networks. Prof. Cohen sits on the national virus advisory board and is proficient in the benefits of the vaccine. His advice and explanations of the vaccine is most respected and sought after in both the online and print media.
